OUR MISSION

At the Indigenous Wellness Alliance Inc. (IWA) our vision is to empower and transform the lives of Individuals, families & communities by fostering well-being through culturally responsive services. Rooted in the wisdom and resilience of our diverse Native cultures, we strive to create a future where every member of our community thrives with dignity, purpose, and connection.

Our Dedication

Extends to those navigating the challenges of re-entry, offering support and resources to facilitate a seamless transition back into society. Recognizing the interconnected nature of well-being, we prioritize mental health services, acknowledging that emotional and psychological health are integral components of a balanced life.

  • Indigenous Wellness Alliance, Inc. (IWA) is a Native-led nonprofit dedicated to creating a purpose driven life to individuals, families & communities. Rooted in the wisdom, resilience, and lived experiences of our people, we exist to empower, uplift & motivate through culturally responsive services.

Our work is grounded in traditional values that honor connection to self, family, community & culture. At IWA, we walk alongside our community members as they reclaim purpose, strength, and hope for the future.

  • Through connection, prevention and long-term support, we create safe spaces where healing and personal growth can take place.

We implement culturally rooted curricula, from the Native American Fatherhood and Families Association (NAFFA) Curriculums, to strengthen families, promote healthy relationships, and encourage self-discovery and accountability.

We meet individuals where they are. Our approach is trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and rooted in compassion, empowering people to break cycles and move forward with confidence and support.

  • We serve individuals, families and communities who seek culturally responsive care. Our work includes adults, Elders, parents, and individuals navigating major life transitions.

    We proudly work with:

    • Individuals and families seeking healing, stability, and personal growth

    • Parents and caregivers strengthening family connections

    • Individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity

    • Those impacted by domestic violence, addiction, or anger management challenges

    • Community members navigating re-entry and reintegration

    • Tribal governments, nonprofits, and community partners committed to collective wellness

At Indigenous Wellness Alliance, we believe everyone deserves access to support that honors who they are and where they come from. Together, we are restoring balance, fostering transformation, and building stronger futures for generations to come.

Our Partnership with NAFFA

NAFFA’s Mission

To strengthen, keep, and reunite families by responsibly involving fathers and mothers in the lives of their children, families, and communities.

NAFFA’s Vision

To inspire fathers and mothers to become models of healthy parenting everywhere.

Our Collaboration

Indigenous Wellness Alliance (IWA) proudly works side by side with the Native American Fatherhood and Families Association (NAFFA) to strengthen, keep, and reunite families through culturally grounded, healing-centered support. Together, we uplift fathers and mothers as vital leaders within their families and communities, empowering them to model healthy parenting rooted in accountability, respect, and love.

This collaboration honors Indigenous traditions while addressing today’s challenges, creating safe pathways for healing, reconnection, and growth. By combining IWA’s cultural responsive services with NAFFA’s family-strengthening curriculum, we help break generational cycles and build resilient, thriving communities for future generations.
